Thank you for visiting House of India Web site. House of India was established in the year 2005 to promote cultural awareness about India in San Diego. The Indian community in San Diego is constantly growing and it is estimated that there are more than 15,000 people of Indian origin living in San Diego. With such a strong presence in the community, we have to make a concerted effort to showcase our culture so that people at large have a better understanding and appreciation of India's heritage, history and traditions. We are in our early stages of fund raising in an effort to build our cottage in the International Cottages area of Balboa Park.
